Members of the ‘Pembrokeshire – I LOVE IT!’ Facebook group are frequently asking for ideas of things to do when visiting our beloved county. This might just be the longest, most comprehensive list of things to do in Pembrokeshire on the internet and we hope it helps answer those questions. This list below currently contains 84 things to do in Pembrokeshire.
But we’re not finished yet – we have some grand plans for this page and soon we hope to put all this information into an interactive map, so you can see what’s where! Check back regularly and you’ll see some big improvements.

Tenby Museum & Art Gallery
Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is the oldest independent museum in Wales. Established in 1878, the Museum has a collection of local geology, biology, archaeological and maritime artifacts.

Skomer Island
The numbers of visitors to the island is carefully managed to prevent erosion and to control the impact of people on the wildlife. Landing tickets are strictly limited to a maximum of 250 per day on a first come first served basis.

Colby’s hidden wooded valley is full of surprises. With an industrial past and a secret garden, it’s the perfect place for heritage hunting and natural play.

St David's Cathedral
Since the 6th century there has been a church on this site. For the past 1500 years prayer and worship has been offered to God on a daily basis which continues to this day.

Pembroke Castle

Manorbier Castle

Cilgerran Castle

Lamphey Bishop's Palace
Lamphey’s palatial grounds are mainly the work of the dynamic Henry de Gower, bishop of St Davids from 1328 to 1347. The bishops used Lamphey as a country retreat, an escape from the burdens of Church and State.
Llawhaden Castle
Llawhaden’s unconventional mix of military and decorative features reveal its main purpose in life: that of a fortified mansion more than out-and-out castle, designed as a residence for the wealthy bishops of St Davids who liked their home comforts.
Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber
The giant 16½ft/5m ‘capstone’ appears to be precariously balanced on three ‘uprights’, though it has remained in place for over 5,000 years.
Narberth Castle
A rectangular castle with towers on each corner but, unfortunately, not much remains today. The most fascinating thing about Narberth Castle are the legends that are attached to it.
Scolton Manor
Scolton Manor is a Victorian country house and country park located in Pembrokeshire, West Wales northeast of Haverfordwest and on the borders of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Built as a home, it is now a museum and is a Grade II* listed building.
Castell Henllys
